Finally, time for some real news on this blog.
I updated my facebook application, Video Kiosk, to work with embedding codes from video sharing websites instead of using specific links that I had to implement each time someone requested support for a site.
That means the application is now compatible with most video sharing websites. In addition, users can now specify a thumbnail image that will be displayed in the kiosk (edit thumbnail link will be added soon) to represent their video. If none is specified, the default one will be used, or in the case of YouTube, the actual video thumbnail will be used.
Tested and compatible video sharing websites :
5min, AniBoom, Blip.TV, Break, ClipFish, CollegeHumor, Crackle, Current, DailyMotion, dalealplay, deviantART, eSnips, FunnyOrDie, GameTrailers, HowCast, IGN, imeem, indiaFM, Rediff iShare, Izlesene, LiveLeak, MediaBum, MegaVideo, Metacafe, MonkeySee, MySpace, MyVideo.de, TheOnion, Revver, RuTube, Sharkle, Spike, StupidVideos, TeacherTube, TinyPic, Tudou, vBox7, Veoh, Vidiac, Vidivodo, Viddyou, Vimeo, Youku and YouTube.
